Lesson Program

Following a brief phone call with our operations coordinator, you’ll be matched with a licensed instructor tailored to your needs. Your first session will be one-on-one, during which you’ll explore the barn, discuss your goals, and participate in an evaluation ride to assess your riding skills and horse knowledge. After this initial session, we’ll arrange for you to join our lesson program. We welcome riders of all levels, starting from the age of 6.

Day 1

Our lesson program offers both private and semi-private sessions, designed to provide you with personalized attention and help you get the most out of each lesson. At The Carlyle, you have the flexibility to choose between English and Western riding styles. Every student is equipped with the resources and support needed to achieve their goals and advance their skills.

    Chip

    Meet Chip, a Quarter Horse gelding. Chip stands at 16.1hh and loves ear scratches and neck rubs. Chip is a great all around horse doing both english and western.

    Favorite Snack: Carrots. ALL the carrots.

    Stella

    Meet our girl Stella, a Quarter Horse mare. She is super sweet and LOVES attention. She stands at 16hh and has the smoothest canter! She also loves groundwork!

    Favorite Snack: Peppermints

    Junior

    Meet Junior, our Percheron x QH gelding. Junior is five years old and LOVES snacks. Junior is very easy going and relaxed. He currently stands at 15.2hh and is still growing!

    Favorite Snack: German Stud Muffins & Apples

    Flax

    Meet Flax, a welsh pony cross mare standing at 13.2 hands high. Flax can do it all! She enjoys jumping cross rails, trail riding and teaching students how to ride!
