The Good American is a 2023 stallion by Good Better Best and out of Oh So Beautiful. He was bred by Nancy Sue Ryan as the culmination of a decade spent thoughtfully crossing the Good Better Best line. In all those years, he was the only colt she chose to leave intact.
Nancy Sue had always said she was waiting for the right one — exceptional confirmation, a quiet and willing mind, and movement that spoke for itself. Beginning his breeding career at The Carlyle Estate, The Good American will stand in Upton, Massachusetts, where his next chapter begins starting in 2027.
