Perfect for children aged 6 to 16, our program combines the thrill of horseback riding with outdoor activities, skill-building opportunities, exciting games and prizes, and a deep connection to nature. Join us for a season filled with fun, growth, and lasting memories!

Expert Instruction

Our experienced instructors provide personalized guidance to riders of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Each child will receive hands-on training to improve their riding techniques safely.

Program Highlight

Horsemanship Skills

In addition to riding, the children will learn important horsemanship skills, including grooming, saddling, and understanding horse behavior. Knowledge of equine care is emphasized to foster a deep appreciation for these magnificent animals.

Safety First

Safety is our top priority. Our facility is equipped with well-maintained horses and safe riding gear. Children receive instruction on safety protocols to ensure a secure riding environment

Beyond riding, the children will enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, nature walks, games with take home prizes and making lasting friendships & memories along the way..

Lunch & Snack Time

Snacks and water will be provided. Please have your child come with a packed lunch every day. We will break one hour for lunch, starting at 12 noon.

The summer experience runs for four weeks, with weekly sessions available from July 14 to August 15.

The summer program is located at our picturesque farm, here in Upton, Massachusetts, 40 minutes west of Boston!

Pricing for 2025

$1,000.00 per child, per week.


Additional details

Children should be dressed appropriately for a day filled with fun and activities. Soft, stretchable pants or jeans are ideal, along with boots that have a heel for safety. Don’t forget rain attire if needed, and a riding helmet to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. We do require an approved riding helmet worn while doing mounted and active ground work with the horses.

Dress Code

Before delving into all the exciting activities, we need an updated physical/vaccination record and a signed waiver from each child. This ensures that everyone can fully participate in our labyrinth of fun! Please email a copy to the office at info@visitcarlyle.com. Any child without the required paperwork will not be accepted into the summer experience program until we receive it in the office.
